The PCB have a different layout then the picture. I don’t know what happened with original drive. You should revert that motherboard to the factory config, otherwise there’s no point in modifying the drive.. I only had to trim metalic holder on the floppy a bit.

But When I opened it Mmpf920 wasn’t surprised. T1 and T2 work fine but the T4 forget it. Anyway, it works, haven’t tested with that demo yet, but if reads, formats m;f920 writes just fine in my A I rummaged through my floppy sack and found three Sony MPF drives.

If you cut the link it won’t be connected to anything Ok, DS0 is easy to d, remove the short circuit block JP1 and add a three pin header to the area below it, then you can toggle it between DS0 and DS1 with a regular jumper cap. My guess would be that the JC30 isn’t connected properly, but would like to hear here if there may be som other issue.
